2016 was a breakout year for country rocker Sturgill Simpson, with his album A Sailor’s Guide To Earth taking the music industry by storm, which initially gained traction with the help from a cover of Nirvana’s In Utero track “In Bloom.” The album has been nominated for Album of the Year and Best Country Album at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
Today, Simpson announced plans for an extensive summer tour, including stops at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Sept. 14th and Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Sept. 25th. The tour will run from September 7th through October 6th, and the full schedule can be seen below.
