Tedeschi Trucks Band brought their 12-piece to the White River State Park, Indianapolis, IN for an epic night at the Farm Bureau Insurance Lawn, with opening support from the North Mississippi Allstars and Los Lobos. While the last few performances in their Wheels of Soul tour have included special guests, like Gregg Allman, Col. Bruce Hampton, Jimmy Herring, Luther and Cody Dickinson, and more, last night’s TTB performance kept it all in the family — though Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi both made their way to the Los Lobos stage before taking the stage on own.

The band kept it tight with fan-favorites “Don’t Know What It Means” and “Let Me Get By” off the their most recent 2016 release, while keeping songs like “Midnight in Harlem” and “The Storm” fresh on deck. It wouldn’t be a Tedeschi-Trucks concert without throwing in some bluesy covers, like “The Letter,” “Goin’ Down to Mexico,” “I Pity the Fool,” and Derek’s own “Swamp Raga.” The night was capped with “Are You Ready,” by Sly & The Family Stone, and “Fire and Rain,” by James Taylor
