Paul McCartneyand Ringo Starr will “come together” for the first time in almost 5 years to perform at the 2014 Grammy Awards.

The legendary members of the most famous rock bands in history will be accepting The Beatles’ Lifetime Achievement Award.  McCartney is up for other awards this year including Best Rock Song for “Cut Me Some Slack,” his track with Nirvana’s Dave Grohl (which by the way, Happy Birthday Dave!) and Krist Noveselic, which they premiered at the Hurricane Sandy, “12-12-12” Benefit.

After the Grammy Awards, the dynamic duo will reunite again to tape a TV special celebrating 50 years since The Beatles’ performance on The Ed Sullivan Show.

The Grammy Awards are also featuring performances byKaty Perry, Lorde, Pink, Daft Punk, Kris Kristofferson, Imagine Dragonsand more.

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards air live from Los Angeles, January 26th.
