In 2012, timeless funk band The Meters were looking for a keyboardist, and eventually recruited the Phish “Chairman of the Boards” himself, Mr. Page McConnell. The Meter Men w/ Page played a scattered offering of shows in 2012, and continued to join forces sporadically throughout 2013 and 2014. It seems that the pairing will continue through 2015 as well!
HUKA Entertainment has announced that The Meter Men w/ Page will perform at The Joy Theatre on April 24th and 25th in New Orleans, LA. The shows will be late-night performances after the first weekend of the famous New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
