Beloved soul/funk ensemble The Nth Power has some exciting news, as the group has announced three very special shows this summer. Not only will the band be performing in Boston and New York, but they’ll be recording live for a series of new releases this fall, with some brand new material in the mix.

While the band’s recently-released Abundance album captures their infectious sound, the only way to truly experience The Nth Power is in the live setting. It’s there that the band was born, and continues to impress with an out-of-this-world energy. With shows on July 29th and 30th at Boston’s The Bridge Sound & Stage and August 18th at Brooklyn’s Knitting Factory, they’re sure to be cooking up something special. With the tapes rolling and the band grooving, get ready for The Nth Power like you’ve never seen!

“We love our fans. They are extremely important to us and essential to what we do. This is for them,” says drummer Nikki Glaspie, “We’ve grown so much over the past couple of years in all aspects of our lives. We are excited to parlay the knowledge, pain, love, happiness and other emotions gained with life experience into our songs.”

Nick Cassarino adds to the band’s outpouring of love for their fans, saying “We didn’t write this music for mainstream radio. We wrote this music for the sake of art, the sake of our hearts and souls, and the sake of our fellow humans that we wish to inspire and awaken.  Thus, we feel it’s important to capture us in our truest essence, responding to the inspiration from the great spirit in the moment, in front of, and with the people: LIVE.  We can’t wait to share this experience with you.”
