The Rolling Stones
are back in the studio and getting ready to celebrate their 50th anniversary.  With recent tweets from Mick Jagger, and photographs of the band exiting a studio in Paris, it appears the Stones will be touring in support of their golden anniversary.  Keith Richards recently spoke to Rolling Stone about being in the studio, “It was like playing in the garage, a maintenance check, you know?”, and on new tracks for an album, “I’d love to get some tracks down and see what songs we’ve got.”

With the possibility of a new pending album, which would be their first since 2005’s A Bigger Bang, Mick Jagger intimated at a possible fall tour earlier this summer by saying “in the autumn…You will definitely be seeing us all together soon.”  Whether or not that means a full-fledged tour remains to be seen.  For anyone that saw his successful stint as the host of Saturday Night Live, it is apparent that the 69-year old is still at the top of his game and ready to hop around on stage, and gyrate those skinny hips like only Mick can do.

Stay tuned with L4LM for more details of a pending album and tour as they are released.
