Eight-piece NOLA-based brass ensemble The Soul Rebels announce four nights of wreckage with Talib Kweli in Februrary 2016. The Soul Rebels are known for sharing the stage with a variety of influential artists, having just opened up for Bruno Mars, and sharing recent stages with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Marilyn Manson, Kool & The Gang, and countless others.

They’ve even collaborated with bands like Umphrey’s McGee, String Cheese Incident, Lettuce and more in recent live performances and on their new The Soul Rebels & Friends: LIVE COMPILATION mixtape (read the review/stream it here). Now, they take another step forward in the game in their upcoming live collaborations with fellow Brooklyn-bred rapper Talib Kweli.

“It’s an absolute honor and privilege to collaborate with the great Talib Kweli, an artist we’ve all looked up to and been true fans of for years. Talib is an inspiration to us as artists. As an activist, he’s someone we truly look up to. Talib is certainly one of my favorite mcs, and we’ve been following his career since the early Blackstar days”, says The Soul Rebels’ drummer and founder Lumar Leblanc in a statement.

These shows are definitely not to be missed. Check out the dates below!
