Up-and-coming New York funk/jam band Polyvamp have certainly been making a name for themselves in the local music scene. The six-piece instrumental outfit recently played an awesome co-bill with Swift Technique at American Beauty NYC, and they’ll hit the Brooklyn Bowl stage for the first time later this month as part of the venue’s Jam Jar showcase.

Recently, the band got together to film a unique jam-session on a rooftop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The band brought their gear to the roof of Café Biba on a beautiful October day, and they unleashed a soaring piece of improvisation that was captured with a multi-cam setup. The band has the famous New York skyline behind them, and the shoot was augmented by stunning drone footage shot from above the band, courtesy of Humza Deas, who is New York Magazine‘s top “Outlaw Instagrammer” of New York City. The drone footage is absolutely gorgeous, providing beautiful HD shots of Brooklyn and the East River.
