Last night marked the final performance along the much-hyped Tool tour featuring Primus. The two bands toured together through much of January, but only on the final night, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, LA, did the two bands actually share the stage.

During last night’s performance of “Southbound Pachyderm,” Primus called upon Tool members Danny Carey and Justin Chancellor for the occasion. The exciting collaboration makes sense, considering Carey filled in for longtime Primus drummer Tim “Herb” Alexander back in 2014, when Alexander suffered from a heart attack.

Still, seeing members of both bands share the stage must have been quite the thrill. While no great video footage has emerged yet, you can watch this Periscope video to catch some of the action. Here’s a clip below as well:
