Trey Anastasio Band continue to delight on their ongoing fall tour, playing to a packed house at the State Theatre in Portland, ME. The show focused on newer material, including performances of “Sometime After Sunset,” “Speak To Me,” “Flying Machines,” “Bounce,” “In Rounds,” and “Paper Wheels” – all songs that made their debut in 2014.

The band also debuted a brand new song, called “Invisible Knife.” As Jambase points out, the song starts off slowly before building to a frenzied solo from Anastasio. Assumedly, a majority of these songs will be featured on the studio album that TAB is planning to release in 2015.

Additionally, TAB broke out a long-lost Phish song called “Never,” which was performed only one time, at the Neil & Pegi Young Bridge School Benefit in 1998. The song has been performed twice by TAB, but those two shows were in 2005, and the song has been shelved ever since.
