Two of the funkiest cats in the business, Turkuaz and The New Mastersounds, have just announced a major fall tour schedule together. The bands will be co-headlining at venues nationwide, with dates spanning from October through December. It’s a great time to be a fan of these groups, as we can only hope for collaborations and exciting twists at every stop along the way.

Brooklyn funk army Turkuaz has been on a roll throughout 2016, picking up steam on the heels of their 2015 album Digitonium. The story is similar for British funkers The New Mastersounds, who released Made For Pleasure in 2015 and haven’t stopped since! Both bands amaze in the live setting – you won’t want to miss this tour when it comes to town.

To celebrate the new tour, the two bands are releasing a joint 7″ disc that includes each band covering a song from the other’s catalog. Of course there are special guest collaborators from each band on the other’s studio venture, making for a fun musical experience that is sure to give fans a great taste of this double billing.
