While the Brooklyn-based funk band Turkuaz already has an extensive summer tour plotted, they just added a couple more club dates at the end of the summer with the announcement of two consecutive nights in Rhode Island across August 24th and 25th and two nights in New York to kick off September. These announcements are in addition to their debut at festivals like Bonnaroo, Camp Bisco, Floyd Fest, Northwest String Summit, and Revival Festival and their return to Summer Camp, Frendly Gathering, Disc Jam, Big What?, and more. After this past month, Turkuaz will close out April with two shows during New Orleans’ Jazz Fest with moe., serving as the jam band’s support. From there, Turkuaz sets their sights on Colorado, where the group will make their first appearance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 13th for their performance with Lettuce.

You can check out a video of moe. and Turkuaz getting down on the Talking Heads’ “This Must Be The Place” during this past Jam Cruise, to get stoked on their upcoming New Orleans performances. You can also see their full touring schedule for this summer below and on the band’s website.
