Earlier today, Dave Matthews performed at Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine‘s rally in Denver, Colorado. Matthews performed a six-song acoustic set that included “Ants Marching”, “One Sweet World”, “Samurai Cop”, “Satellite”, “Loving Wings”, and “Don’t Drink The Water”.

Between songs, Matthews said a few things to thicken the plot. “I’m an immigrant, I’m a foreigner… you’re damn right I’m a foreigner!” he yelled. “This is my home, but I’m an immigrant. I didn’t take anybody’s job, but I came here to work. And I love it, and I think I have more in common with most immigrants than anything else, who came to work, did not come to take any jobs. We came because we believe something that this place could stand for, and hopefully it will.” He continues, “In a way, we’re all a little big ‘immigrants’ because we are standing on colonized ground.” Watch the full performance below!
