The Who recently announced dates for an extensive 50th anniversary tour. Dubbed ‘The Who Hits 50,’ the powerhouse rock band will tour the world over before calling it quits. Last night marked the opening performance of the tour, with a show in Abu Dhabi.

The setlist carried the band through various eras of their career, playing songs from the earlier years like “My Generation” and “Substitute,” all the way through tracks like “You Better You Bet” and “Eminence Front,” from their last two real albums (2006’s Endless Wire doesn’t count). As Jambase points out, the new single “Be Lucky” was not played at all.
