In honor of Grateful Dead 50, Rolling Stone invited four “Jerry Garcias” from different Grateful Dead cover bands up to their New York office. The Jerrys start out by discussing their first experiences seeing the Dead, which has some hilarious results. “I remember taking way too much airplane hits,” one guy said. “And I do remember them coming out of space, and they started to go into ‘The Other One.’ I swear the entire stage turned into a vortex, and I thought we were all going right to hell. I was gonna hang on for the ride – and I never let go.”

After some more introductory conversation the Jerrys get quizzed in Grateful Dead trivia. The segment ends with all four Jerrys joining forces to perform “Ripple” together. Watch below!
