Watch Jimmy Herring Play Jerry Garcia’s Guitar On Dead Cover

Widespread Panic guitarist Jimmy Herring took Jerry Garcia’s Travis Bean TB500 guitar for a test run last month, bringing Garcia’s third-most-used axe out during soundcheck for a jam on the Dead’s tune, “He’s Gone.” At the time, only a small Instagram clip was posted, but now we have a more-extensive video that was released by WSP themselves.

The guitar was sold in auction for nearly $250K in 2013.
