Mike Gordon played the final show of his solo tour last night, hitting the Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA. True to his unusual self, Cactus opened the show in atypical fashion, donning an acoustic guitar for a mini-medley of covers alongside Scott Murawski, who was also playing the acoustic guitar.

The duo played a number of cover songs in rapid succession, starting with Led Zeppelin’s “Ramble On”. The medley included The Grateful Dead’s “China Cat Sunflower”, Bad Company’s “Feel Like Makin’ Love”, Doc Watson’s “Deep River Blues”, Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love”, John Mellencamp’s “Pink Houses”, the Doobie Brothers’ “Long Train Running”, and Gordon’s own song, “Face”.
