One day after the band made their return to St. Paul, MN, Ween headed down to Chicago, IL to play the first night of the famed Riot Fest. Going from a predominantly jam-oriented festival like Lockn’ to a predominantly punk/metal-oriented festival like Riot Fest is no easy feat, but Ween pulls it off with their unique style and tight musicianship.

The show at Riot Fest was particularly unique, as it contained four songs that hadn’t been played since before the band’s 2012 break up. The songs “I’m Dancing In The Show Tonight,” “I’ll Be Your Jonny On The Spot,” “Marble Tulip Juicy Tree,” and “You Were The Fool” each hadn’t been played by Ween since 2011, making their inclusion all the more special. As the reunion tour continues on throughout 2016, it will be interesting to see what other songs Ween adds into the rotation!
