Panic En La Playa kept on trucking along yesterday, with Widespread Panic playing their third of four consecutive nights at the beautiful Riviera Maya in Mexico. For the fifth straight year, Panic En La Playa has heralded the pure fusion of great music, beautiful location, and wonderful people.

Last night was no exception, as the group got to work with a show-opening “Disco” and rattled through classics like “Bear’s Gone Fishin'” and Neil Young’s “Walk On.” The set featured a cover of Traffic’s “Low Spark Of High Heeled Boys,” mixed in between “Little Kin” and Funkadelic’s “Red Hot Mama.” Rockin!

Set two opened with an “Impossible > B of D” combo, and also featured Street Dogs single “The Poorhouse Of Positive Thinking.” A rockin’ “Protein Drink / Sewing Machine” closed out the set, and a double dose of “Porch Song > Blackout Blues” put a cap on this great night of music!

Panic En La Playa continues tomorrow, and WSP set out on a winter tour just a few days after. beginning in Athens, GA on February 9th. Be sure to keep it tuned to L4LM for all of the action! Check out last night’s setlist below, courtesy of PanicStream:
