Last night, Bob Weir & RatDog were scheduled to perform at The Palms Casino and Resort in Las Vegas, NV. Thus, it came as a surprise to fans in attendance that the band played on without Weir, who was under the weather and advised not to perform.

The venue posted the following tweet, and offered refunds for tickets.

No word yet as to the nature of Weir’s illness. The band played a two-hour-long set last night, with drummer Jay Lane handling vocal duties. Guitarist Steve Kimock sat in for a rousing intrumental version of “Stella Blue.”

As of now, Bob Weir and RatDog are scheduled to perform tonight at Humphrey’s Concerts By The Bay in San Diego, CA. It appears the Grateful Dead guitarist will be in attendance, so hopefully Weir is feeling well enough to play.

Get well soon!
