Ray Paczkowski and Russ Lawton are reuniting their Soule Monde project for a new album and a slate of Spring tour dates. The album, called Must Be Nice, will be released on March 3rd on Ropeadope Records. It was recorded over the course of many months during the Summer and Fall of 2016 in the Green Mountains of Vermont, and it’s a hybrid of funk, jazz, and jam, with tons of deep rhythms and gorgeous melodies. The Trey Anastasio Band alumni have an amazing chemistry and unique approach to songwriting, culminating in the musical journey that is Must Be Nice.

Check out “Influence”, the first single from Soule Monde’s forthcoming release Must Be Nice, below.

The duo will hit the pavement in March 2017 to support their new album, hitting cities throughout the Northeast. They’ll kick things off on March 2nd with a show at The Cafe at Parlor Newport in Newport, RI, before hitting New York City, Boston, Burlington, Washington D.C. and more, and they’ll wrap things up on March 31st in Philadelphia.
