Natalie Cressman (Album Release Party) With Omaha Diner @ American Beauty NYC

Singer/Songwriter/Tromobonist Natalie Cressman is certainly well-known as a long-standing member of the Trey Anastasio Band, but her solo resume is extremely impressive unto itself. She is currently preparing to release a new five song album, titled ‘The Traces EP,’ and will celebrate the album’s release on Wednesday, March 24th at New York City’s American Beauty, as part of a co-bill with the all-star lineup of Omaha Diner (purchase early-bird tickets here).

The 25-year-old currently resides in Brooklyn and already has two self-produced albums, 2012’s ‘Unfolding,’ and 2014’s ‘Turn The Sea,’ to go along with 2016’s ‘Etching in Amber,’ a duo album recorded with guitarist Mike Bono. Cressman has some serious vocal skills to go along wit her trombone playing, and is well-versed in various musical stylings, including modern jazz, Latin jazz, Brazilian, funk, rock, and more.

Joining Cressman on the bill will be Omaha Diner featuring Skerik (saxophone), Charlie Hunter (7-string guitar), Steven Bernstein (trumpet), and Bobby Previte (drums). The group, dripping with talent, explores the pop music world whilst putting a modern jazz feel to various #1, and only #1, Billboard hits from across the spectrum.
