Last night, Umphrey’s McGee continued their west coast run supported by Arizona jam favorites Spafford at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA. Spafford kicked off the show with a characteristically rocking set including a number of funky originals, deep improv, and even a cover of Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ “Soul To Squeeze.” The show was live streamed to fans via TourGigs, so you can watch full pro-shot footage Spafford’s opening set below:

By the time Umphrey’s took the stage, the audience was warmed up and ready for a fantastic performance. The Chicago natives capitalized on the energy of Spafford’s opening set, delivering a well-played show featuring fan-favorite originals, technically complex jamming, and a sing-along cover of David Bowie classic “Let’s Dance” to close out the second set.
