Umphrey’s McGee Announce Brand-New Album & 20th Anniversary Tour

Umphrey’s McGee will be celebrating their 20th year as a band in 2018, and it seems that the year will be filled with new music and lots of tour dates. The band has just announced that they will release a brand new album called it’s not us on January 12th., with more details on the new album coming soon. Umphrey’s has also announced a big tour in support of the new record that will take the band up and down the East Coast, with several multi-night runs in the mix in some of the band’s most cherished markets.

Starting in Pittsburgh at Stage AE on January 11th, Umphrey’s will hit the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati for a two-night run, before making a grand return to New York’s beloved Beacon Theatre, where the band will stop for three consecutive nights, including their proper 20th birthday celebration on Sunday, January 21st. Umphrey’s will also play multiple nights at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo, MI, and the ExploreAsheville.com Arena in Asheville, NC, while throwing in stops in New Haven CT, Jim Thorpe, PA, Columbus, OH, and Washington D.C., where they’ll make a stop at the brand new venue The Anthem. The band will finish this leg of what should be a lengthy tour in support of it’s not us with a performance at WhigFest Music & Arts Festival in Tampa, FL

The band will be having a pre-sale for all of their upcoming 2018 shows starting on Monday, October 23rd. UMVIP packages for New York, Kalamazoo, and Asheville will also go on sale on October 23rd.
