Dead & Company To Perform On Two Episodes Of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert

While the lineup alone was interesting in and of itself, Band Together also marked Dead & Company’s first show together since their successful summer tour. With Fall Tour starting on Sunday at Madison Square Garden in New York City, west coast fans were eager to see what the Grateful Dead torchbearers had in store. With less than an hour set in their hands, the band played through a selection of signature standards including “Playing in the Band”, “Deal”, “Scarlet Begonias”, “Fire on the Mountain”, “Not Fade Away”, and “Touch of Grey”. With Bob Weir, John Mayer, and Oteil Burbridge trading lead vocals and sharing harmonies throughout, it’s clear the band is ready to pick back up where they left off in July.
