On December 15th, Eminem dropped his latest album Revival, marking the rapper’s ninth studio album. While the reviews have been mixed (though quite frankly, leaning mostly negative), Eminem still knows how to rally his fan base. Over the weekend, in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan, a pop-up restaurant called Mom’s Spaghetti appeared at music venue The Shelter, and Eminem surprised fans by showing up and hanging out with his fans.

Obviously, the name of the pop-up restaurant, “Mom’s Spaghetti,” is drawn from the iconic line of his 2002 single, “Lose Yourself” from his movie 8 Mile. Mom’s Spaghetti offered up a variety of spaghetti-based dishes, including, as told by NME, spaghetti sandwiches and more classic dishes like spaghetti with meatballs. In promotion of his latest album, the pop-up also sold Revival as well limited-edition merchandise.

During the pop-up, Eminem stopped by, making time to sign the new album and turning the pop-up shop into a surprise meet-and-greet. You can check out some photos from the event via Instagram below.
