Today, Hangout Fest has announced the lineup for their 2019 event, set to take place in sunny Gulf Shores, Alabama on May 17th, 18th, and 19th. The 2019 lineup is led by Travis Scott, The Lumineers, Khalid, Vampire Weekend, Cardi B, and Kygo in addition to The 1975, Diplo, Hozier, GRiZ, Walk The Moon, Jimmy Eat World, and many more.
Marketed as a luxurious beachside “music vacation,” Hangout Fest boasts stagefront swimming pools, hammocks lining the beach, and other experiential amenities and activities. Notes the festival’s announcement press release,

Tickets for Hangout Music Festival 2019 go on sale on Tuesday, December 4th at 10 a.m. CST/11 a.m. EST. For those wanting to extend their vacation, Hangout Fest will be announcing their Thursday Kick-Off Party, a separately ticketed evening, at a later date. Hangout Fest has notably undergone a drastic shift in their targeted audience over the last few years. The festival that formerly booked acts like Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, Trey Anastasio Band, Dave Matthews Band, String Cheese Incident, My Morning Jacket, Umphrey’s McGee, and Pretty Lights has focused exclusively on mainstream pop acts for recent editions of the event.
