On Friday, North Carolina-based six-piece funk/rock outfit BIG Something announced their 2019 plans for Halloween and New Year’s.

BIG Something will offer up a two-night “Costume Ball” Halloween run at Greenville, NC’s State Theatre on October 31st and November 1st. Psylo Joe will offer up support on Halloween proper and Purple Schoolbus will handle the opening duties on the second night of the run.

The sextet will ring in the New Year with a three-night run at Raleigh, NC’s Lincoln Theatre, set for December 29th, 30th, and 31st.

The band—comprised of Nick MacDaniels (guitar), Doug Marshall (bass),  Josh Kagel (keys, trumpet), Casey Cranford (sax, EWI), Jesse Hensley (lead guitar), and Ben Vinograd (drums)—released their fifth full-length studio album back on April 20th, 2018 with The Otherside. The album was produced by Grammy-nominated producer John Custer and was dedicated to Paul Interdonato, BIG Something lyricist and guitarist Nick MacDaniels‘ childhood best friend, who passed away.
