The veteran rock act will release the 10-track Surviving on October 18th via RCA Records. The album was co-produced by the band alongside Justin Meldal-Johnson, who’d previously worked with the band on their last album in addition to a pair of 2018 singles, “half heart” and “Love Never”.
Jimmy Eat World shared a preview of their new material to go with Monday’s announcement, including the high-energy “All the Way (Stay)” and a reworked recording of “Love Never”. “All The Way (Stay)” features the brighter tones of a saxophone sprinkled into its four-minute runtime, allowing for a nice tonal change to the band’s traditional garage rock sound.
