Members of Little Feat took the stage at Huntington, NY’s The Paramount with heavy hearts on Saturday evening following the death of longtime guitarist and singer Paul Barrere after a long battle with liver disease earlier in the day.

The band’s 15-song performance as part of their 50th-anniversary fall tour on Saturday opened with members sharing the sad news of Barrere’s passing that morning with fans in attendance, and dedicated their first tune of the evening, “Tripe Face Boogie”, in Barrere’s honor. The show continued with a mix of songs from the band’s classic rock catalog including “Time Loves a Hero”, “Spanish Moon”,”Church Falling Down”, “Rooster Rag”, and “Six Feet of Snow”.

The show continued into its latter half with “Fat Man in the Bathtub”, “Willin'”, “All That You Dream”, and “Dixie Chicken” to close the set. The band returned to the stage for a one-song encore of “Oh Atlanta”.
