Galactic was in Port Chester, NY on Friday evening for just the second stop on the veteran funk outfit’s 25th-anniversary tour. Friday’s show treated attendees to a main headlining set from Galactic, who had help from special guest Chali 2na and support act Anders Osborne.
Just a few hours following the release of their new single featuring guest vocalist and 25th-anniversary tourmate Anjelika “Jelly” Joseph, the band was all geared up and ready to take the stage and fill “The Cap” with their trademark style of New Orleans-inspired funk music. Chali 2na and Osborne opened the show to get fans up and moving. Just as they’d done last month on Jam Cruise, Galactic welcomed Chali 2na to the stage during their headlining set to help sing on a throwback cover of Jurassic 5‘s “Quality Control”.
