Over the weekend, Trampled by Turtles played a two-night run of drive-in concerts at the McHenry Outdoor Theater in McHenry, IL, including a sold-out show on Saturday night. That concert followed one on Friday in Wausau, WI which marked the bluegrass outfit’s return to the stage after months of forced hiatus.
Throughout the concert, fans were treated to a bevy of the Minnesota-bred band’s coveted hits. The show opened with what began as a solemn “Midnight on the Interstate” which eventually evolved into an all-out foot stomper. From there, the band was off to the races as it ran through a 20-song set of tunes that spanned a nearly 20-year career.
