Hollywood’s red carpet is soundtracked by George Harrison‘s “My Sweet Lord” in a new star-studded video for the song released on Wedensday. The seven-minute clip features over 40 cameos, including Harrison’s former Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr.

The Lance Bangs-directed and scripted video casts Saturday Night Live alums Fred Armisen and Vanessa Bayer as government agents dispatched by Mark Hamill to search for…well, we don’t exactly know what. All we know is that “it’s happening again” and that Luke Skywalker wants the comedians to look for “something out there” with UV scanners. The video’s vagueness produces its charm, with a Twin Peaks: The Return mystery wrapped up in a Ghostbusters-style comedic adventure.

Armisen and Bayer scour the library looking for clues before entering a cinema. Along the way, they pass countless familiar faces including another of Harrison’s bandmates Jeff Lynne. At the theater, Patton Oswalt rips tickets, “Weird” Al Yankovich sells popcorn, and Darren Criss shows them to their seats. As Armisen shines a flashlight on perturbed movie patrons—including Starr and Joe Walsh—the George Harrison documentary All Things Must Pass plays onscreen.

The cavalcade of characters to rival the Marvel cinematic universe comes to a dizzying crescendo as Jon Hamm dispels dozens more agents including Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci (Garfunkel & Oates), Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim (Tim & Eric), Anders Holm, and more to join the search. Finally, a beleaguered Armisen and Bayer regroup in the car, disappointed that they didn’t find whatever it is they were supposed to be looking for. However, the two enjoy a closing moment of clarity when they turn on the radio to hear “My Sweet Lord” start up again.
