Asbury Park, NJ-native jam-rock upstarts Dogs In A Pile on Thursday kicked off a weekend run of tour dates in the Northeast with a sold-out performance and Newmarket, New Hampshire’s The Stone Church Music Club.

In addition to a mix of fan-favorite originals and the debut of a new tune, “Ugly Song”, the two-set show featured covers of songs by Phish (“Free”), the Grateful Dead (“Feel Like A Stranger”), and Little Feat (“Time Loves A Hero”).

Dogs In A Pile—comprised of Jimmy Law (guitar/vocals), Jeremy Kaplan (keys/vocals), Joe Babick (drums), Sam Lucid (bass), and Brian Murray (guitar/vocals)—will continue their weekend run on Friday night, November 18th with a sold-out gig at Cambridge, MA’s Middle East. On Saturday, November 19th, the band will head south to New York City for a show at Mercury Lounge. Next Friday (11/25), the Dogs will return to Port Chester, NY’s storied The Capitol Theatre to serve as support on Twiddle‘s annual Frendsgiving celebration.
