Brown recently hosted a jam session in New Orleans during Jazz Fest that attracted a revolving door of heavy hitters including members of Lettuce, Cimafunk, Ghost-Note, Weedie Braimah, some of his former TTB bandmates, and more. Although he did not detail who will be joining him on tour this spring, several top-tier players, including some of the guests from his New Orleans jam, were tagged in the tour announcement, among them drummers Adam Deitch (Lettuce) and Blaque Dynamite (a.k.a. Mike Mitchell), guitarists Isaiah Sharkey and Marcus Machado, producer/turntablist Chris Karns (Pretty Lights), keyboardist James Francies, pianist Brian Simpson, and saxophonist Chelsea Baratz.
