For the first time ever, fans around the globe will be able to livestream the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductions. The 2023 ceremonies, set to take place tonight, November 3rd at Brooklyn, NY’s Barclays Center, will air live on Disney+.
This year’s performer inductees include Willie Nelson, Missy Elliott, Rage Against The Machine, Sheryl Crow, George Michael, and The Spinners. Other inductees headed for the Hall are Soul Train creator Don Cornelius who will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award, along with DJ Kool Herc and the late Link Wray who will be honored with the Musical Influence Award. Chaka Khan, producer Al Kooper, and Elton John lyricist Bernie Taupin will all receive the Musical Excellence Award.

Set to honor this year’s inductees is an impressive lineup of contemporaries and representatives of the next generation of artists. Presenters and performers include Stevie Nicks, Olivia Rodrigo, Carrie Underwood, Dave Matthews, Adam Levine, Common, Ice-T, LL Cool J, Elton John, Chris Stapleton, Queen Latifah, H.E.R., Brandi Carlile, Sia, St. Vincent, Miguel, and New Edition. Per Pitchfork, only Nicks and Rodrigo have so far been confirmed as performers.
In years past, fans have had to wait months for an abridged version of the induction to air on HBO. Now in 2023, thanks to a new media partnership, viewers can tune in beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Friday via Disney+ to watch the ceremonies live, or watch on-demand after the premiere. Additionally, ABC will premiere a two-hour primetime special featuring highlights from the show on January 1st, 2024 at 8 p.m. ET. The made-for-TV special will also be available on Disney+ and Hulu.
