Pink Talking Fish just kicked off its winter tour on Wednesday in San Diego, but the hybrid tribute band is already setting its sights on spring with a new crop of tour dates. Included in the 18-show itinerary are a special Star Wars show on May 4th and a complete performance of The Dark Side of the Moon during the total eclipse.
The tour from the Pink Floyd/Talking Heads/Phish tribute band will kick off on March 15th with the group’s return to Brooklyn Bowl in New York. Stops at other familiar venues will follow with shows in Saratoga Springs, NY (3/16), Norfolk, CT (3/22), and a hometown-area show in Beverly, MA (3/23). In April, PTF will play a special run of concerts leading up to the eclipse, beginning with the band’s return to the Wild Corn Backcountry Shindig in Madison, NH (4/5–4/6). The band will then arrive in Jay, VT to play an evening show on April 7th ahead of the total eclipse on April 8th, when Pink Talking Fish will perform Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon outdoors while the eclipse is happening.

On the second night, the unofficial Star Wars holiday May 4th (as in, “May the 4th be with you”), Pink Talking Fish will incorporate music from the beloved sci-fi franchise into its setlist. Finally, the tour will wind down with shows in Richmond, VA (5/10), Waynesboro, VA (5/11), King of Prussia, PA (5/17), and Newtown, NJ (5/18), before culminating with a pair of festival appearances at StrangeCreek in Greenfield, MA (5/24) and the band’s inaugural trip to The Caverns in Pelham, TN for CaveJam (5/25).
