Covering the songs of the musical legends The Beatles is always an exciting task, yet one that does not come without pressure.

Interested in the challenge, The Eurythmics are reuniting to film a television special entitled The Night That Changed America: A Grammy Salute to the Beatles. No news yet as to which song Eurythmics members Annie Lennox and David A. Stewart will choose, but we’re excited to see the duo reunite after a nine year hiatus.

Viewers can catch the tribute on air February 9th on CBS, which will be taped at the famous Los Angeles Convention Center. The tribute honors the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ much remembered 1964 appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show, showcasing their moptops and swooning fans to an astonishing 73 million viewers!

Alongside The Eurythmics, big names such as Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Keith Urban, Maroon 5 and John Legend will also be performing in the Beatles tribute concert.  We’re ecstatic to see such great talent come together for a well deserved celebration of a timeless and unforgettable band. Sweet dreams are made of these.
