Stevie Wonder has announced a last-minute run of ten tour dates set to take place next month at arenas around the U.S. The tour, scheduled in the final weeks of the 2024 presidential election cycle, is billed as Sing Your Song! As We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart and aims to serve the 25-time Grammy Award-winner’s “call for joy over anger, kindness over recrimination, peace over war.” The run of shows marks the R&B, soul, and funk icon’s first extended run of shows in more than five years.
Produced by Wonder Productions and promoted by AEG Presents in partnership with Free Lunch, the tour is set to begin on Tuesday, October 8th at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA and continue with performances at New York, NY’s Madison Square Garden (10/10), Philadelphia, PA’s Wells Fargo Center (10/12), Baltimore, MD’s CFG Bank Arena (10/15), Greensboro, NC’s Greensboro Coliseum (10/17), Atlanta, GA’s State Farm Arena (10/19), Detroit, MI’s Little Caesars Arena (10/22), Milwaukee, WI’s Fiserv Forum (10/24), and Minneapolis, MN’s Target Center (10/27) before wrapping at Grand Rapids, MI’s Van Andel Arena (10/30).
As a special thank you, Stevie Wonder will be offering a designated amount of complimentary tickets to “those in our communities who are already working tirelessly to fix our nation’s broken heart.”
The tour’s billing is borrowed from the new Stevie Wonder single “Can We Fix Our Nation’s Broken Heart” released earlier this month. Watch the official lyric video for the track below.
