Kliph Scurlock—longtime drummer for The Flaming Lips—has reportedly left the band.

According to Pitchfork, a representative for the group has confirmed Scurlock is no longer a member of The Flaming Lips.

Recently, The Future Heart touched on speculation that Scurlock—who has been a member of The Flaming Lips since 2002—was on his way out, citing his absence from the band’s Buku Music Project appearance in New Orleans on March 22nd.

The Flaming Lips have a number of upcoming shows scheduled including stops at BonnarooThe Hudson Project and more.  There’s no word on who will be taking Scurlock’s spot.
