Like Macauley Culkin (aka Richie Rich)? Love the sounds of Lou Reed and The Velvet Underground? Well apparently atendees of the Dot to Dot Festival in Nottingham, England, do not like them together.

What brings such outrageously different characters together? If you didn’t already know, Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin, now turned singer, started a Velvet Underground cover comedy band, “The Pizza Underground,” back in 2013, when the band recorded their first demo in Culkin’s house. All their songs are pizza-related renditions of fan favorites from the 60s and 70s rock band, including “Papa John Says” (Stephanie Says), “Take a Bite of the Wild Side” (Walk on the Wild Side), and “Waiting for the Pizza Man” (Waiting for the Man). After playing for just fifteen minutes at the Nottingham venue, Macauley and his bandmates called it quits after being booed aggressively off stage.

Apparently, many have admitted that Pizza Underground’s shows are actually pretty good, after seeing them perform in other shows around the U.K, also as part of the Dot to Dot Festival, while others think their performances are disrespectful and make a mockery out of The Velvet Underground’s best hits.

Wanna check it out for yourself? You can catch Pizza Underground at NYC’s Le Poisson Rouge on June 12th, or at Riot Fest in Chicago or Denver, which takes place September 12th-14th, and Septmber 19th-21st.
