Flood City Music Festival will return to Johnstown, PA in 2025 with a historic lineup led by Gov’t Mule, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, and Andy Frasco & The U.N. The long-running local festival is set for July 25th and 26th at Peoples Natural Gas Park.
New Jersey jam upstarts Dogs In A Pile will join the Flood City Music Festival lineup in 2025 to complete the Pigeons Frasco Dogs trifecta that toured the nation last summer. Filling out the rest of the lineup are summer festival mainstays The Motet, LaMP (ft. Russ Lawton, Scott Metzger, and Ray Paczkowski), Octave Cat, Sicard Hollow, Natalie Brooke and Katie Henry, plus artist-at-large Jennifer Hartswick (Trey Anastasio Band). These artists will perform across three stages in addition to local and national up-and-coming acts.
“The success of the last three festivals, each of which has been a box office record, has enabled us to take our festival to the next level,” festival co-chair Bryan Hummel said in a release. “To be able to host a legend like Warren Haynes (Gov’t Mule) on Saturday night is truly a milestone for this festival. …With a strong underbill as support, we are anticipating our first ever capacity crowd in 2025.”
Launched in 1989 as a street fair to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Johnstown Flood, the Flood City Music Festival has become one of the Midwest’s oldest annual music festivals. Though rising production costs have spelled the end for many festivals across the country, Flood City has survived and kept ticket prices affordable thanks to its sponsors, including Heritage Johnstown and AmeriServ Financial Bank—the latter of which has sponsored the festival for a record 31 years.
Two-day passes for Flood City Music Festival 2025 are on sale now for the early bird price of $65 for GA or $90 for VIP.
