Healing Appalachia has announced the lineup for its 2025 festival, set to take place at Boyd County Fairgrounds in Ashland, KY on Friday and Saturday, September 19th and 20th.
In addition to perennial headliner Tyler Childers, the 2025 edition of Healing Appalachia—which focuses on initiatives aiding people in the region affected by substance abuse and addiction—will feature performances by an eclectic mix of country, bluegrass, Americana, rock, soul, and pop acts including Chris Stapleton, Molly Tuttle, Remi Wolf, The Infamous Stringdusters, Jesse Welles, Blackberry Smoke, American Aquarium, Lukas Nelson, Brad Goodall, Sunny War, Desert Hollow, Cole Chaney, and more.
Prior to the main event, Healing Appalachia will also host a free kickoff party on Thursday, September 18th featuring performances by Andy Frasco & The U.N. and Jeremy Short. Event organizers also announced that all of this year’s late-night shows will be included in the cost of weekend tickets.

Healing Appalachia’s mission is to produce events that help connect and grow communities of recovery and healing in Appalachia, raising funds and awareness to combat opioid addiction through a wide array of projects. Like Farm Aid does to raise awareness and funds for America’s small, sustainable family farms, Healing Appalachia aims to bring people together and raise funds and awareness to celebrate recovery and work year-round on initiatives fostering communities of recovery.
Healing Appalachia is produced by recovery-focused nonprofit organization Hope in the Hills. As organizers wrote along with the lineup announcement, “Since Hope in the Hills is volunteer-run and recovery-based, we aim to keep tickets as affordable as possible so that as many people as possible can come. Our artists dedicate their time and talent so that funds can be distributed instead to recovery efforts across Appalachia and the basic production costs needed to run our festival!”
