Goose has been announced as the headliner for the seventh edition of the Jam In The Streets melanoma awareness and benefit festival in Athens, GA on Saturday, March 28th, 2026. The outdoor event, presented by 501(c)(3) non-profit Jam For Cam, will also feature performances by Moon Taxi, Clay Street Unit, Slater Nalley, Jacoozy, Easy Honey, Wax Monkey, Tomorrow’s Problem, and more to be announced.
Founded in 2018 in honor of Cameron Fearon, an Atlanta native and University of Georgia student who passed away from melanoma at 19 years old, Jam For Cam’s Jam In The Streets has become one of the fastest-growing college town festivals in the country, bringing together community, music, and philanthropy to fight one of the fastest-growing cancers among young adults. The 2025 event drew over 15,000 attendees and raised $520,000 for various charities, including the Melanoma Research Foundation and Camp Carolina.
The 2026 edition of Jam In The Streets will present its highest-profile artist lineup to date on Washington Street in Downtown Athens. Per a press release, organizers anticipate will be one of the largest in-street music events in the Classic City since Widespread Panic‘s record-setting 1998 album release party, which was later released as a concert film and live album Panic in the Streets.
In addition to Goose, the arena-filling jam band, and the rest of the nationally touring acts on the lineup, Jam In The Streets 2026 will feature local college bands, vendors, food partners, and various interactive community activations. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to support Jam For Cam’s mission: leveraging the power of music to bring community together and fight melanoma through awareness, education, prevention, and charitable support for research.
Melanoma remains one of the fastest-rising cancers among people ages 15–30. Early detection rates can directly impact survival rates, yet awareness among young adults remains critically low. Jam For Cam aims to make an impact by driving awareness of melanoma, educating about early detection, preventative efforts and locations to get your skin checked, and raising money for both melanoma and cancer research organizations that are on the front lines of developing potential cures and new research.
