The Bonnaroo SuperJam has become one of the most unique and collaborative sets of music at any festival on the circuit today. Artists from different genres are able to come together for a night and leave it all out on the stage, trying to take a chance at producing something great. Last year’s Skrillex-lead SuperJam at Bonnaroo had all the makings for such a spectacle, with help from the likes of Big Gigantic, Thundercat, Warpaint, Ms. Lauryn Hill, and even The Doors’ Robby Krieger. Now, thanks to AT&T U-verse and Consequence of Sound, fans can take a glimpse into what went on in preparation for that event.

In the second episode of a new Skrillex & Friends SuperJam documentary, The Grateful Dead‘s Mickey Hart shows up to lend a hand out to Skrillex and his crew for a play on The Dead’s “Fire On The Mountain.” The two get in to playing with some exotic percussive instruments as well as an array of different Hart creations, chiefly among them, his RAMU (Random Access Musical Universe). Yes, Mickey Hart now has a mechanism whereby he can capture his own brain waves while playing drums.
