UPDATE 10/1/15 3:15 PM: The mascot has accepted the invitation! He looks forward to raging with the band at the Rabbit Hole in Charlotte on 10/14.
***
Yesterday news broke that a Charlotte man was arrested after allegedly stealing a mascot uniform and wearing it around the city for a wild night on the town. The man, Joe Gillespie, “raged” the night away dressed as local minor league baseball mascot “Homer”. While nursing his hangover the next day police showed up at his door and charged Joe with two felonies.
Funk act Pigeons Playing Ping Pong heard this news and decided to give Joe a shot at redemption with a chance to be the band’s mascot at their upcoming show in Charlotte at the Rabbit Hole on 10/14. The band has taken to Facebook hoping to find Joe and rage with him, legally dressed in a mascot costume.

Pigeons Playing Ping Pong began their fall tour last night in Greensboro, NC. Tonight, they head to Barrelhouse South in Savannah, GA. Check out the rest of their tour dates here.
