Pearl Jam is plugging away out on tour in South America right now, and last night at the Arena do Grêmio in Porto Alegre, Brazil, debuted a wonderful cover of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” during their second encore. Though Vedder has played the tune with Floyd’s Roger Waters in the past, as Consequence of Sound points out, this marks the first time Pearl Jam has played the tune in concert. The band also worked Floyd’s “Interstellar Overdrive” into their main set.
