Tedeschi Trucks Band fans have had an exciting week thusfar, as the band recently announced a number of 2016 dates, and have followed that up with plans to release their third studio effort. Titled Let Me Get By, the diverse new offering is due out on January 29th via Fantasy Records.
The announcement should come as no surprise to diehard TTB fans. Anyone who was following the band’s social media feeds all week must have noticed the numerous teaser tracks, the images of which came together to form the album cover seen above.

The new album features a lot of firsts for the TTB members. It’s the first fully produced by Doyle Bramhall II, who appears on three tracks as well. It’s the first fully written by Trucks and Tedeschi, the first since the Allman Brothers disbanded, the first that features vocalist Mike Mattison on lead vocals, and the first with bassist Tim Lefebvre.
