If anyone needed evidence to the strength and resiliency that music can provide, this is it. Just three weeks after terrorists tragically took the lives of 89 people at an Eagles of Death Metal concert at Le Bataclan in Paris, France, the rock outfit is returning to the French capital for another performance.

This time, EODM will be joining U2 on stage during their final song at AccorHotels Arena, and that Queens of the Stone Age collaborator Josh Homme will be joining in for the performance. Not only that, but the band will resume their halted European tour in February.

The report comes from Billboard, which discusses how U2 cancelled performances that were scheduled for the days immediately following the terrorist attacks. The Parisian attacks claimed 130 lives in total, including a merchandise vendor, some record executives, and too many music fans to count. Let us hope that something like this will never happen again.
