One month after Perpetual Groove’s triumphant 2-night stand at The Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, PG lead guitarist and vocalist Brock Butler returned to previously familiar South Florida digs in the form of Boca Raton’s Funky Buddha Lounge & Brewery on Thursday night (2/25/16) for a three-set solo acoustic performance, featuring a mix of P-Groove classics along with some deep rock covers.

Thanks to our friends at CHeeSeHeaDPRoDuCTioNS for capturing and sharing some of the magic.

The first set featured Brock covering the John Scofield instrumental, “A Go Go”:

…as well as a few older and newer Perpetual Groove classics, “All This Everything, Part I > Paper Dolls”:

The second set was more cover-heavy and featured a set opener sit in with local talent Emily Carroll. Together they covered Peter Gabriel‘s “Come Talk To Me.” Other covers in the set included Hall & Oates‘ “She’s Gone” and Pink Floyd‘s “Us And Them.”

After a short break, Brock concluded the show with the always touching Perpetual Groove anthem, “It Starts Where It Ends”
